Signs of Anxiety
Self Help Techniques

What is anxiety and what are the signs of anxiety?

Certain events during the day cause stress. It can be positive, for example, someone close to you says something encouraging. You respond with joy and feel wonderful!

Anxiety is the opposite; it’s a worried response to an incident and usually concerns the future. Imagine, in the example above, your friend approaches you and says something awful. You are devastated and start to worry! The signs of anxiety begin with harmful “self talk” churning, over and over in your mind.

Dealing with anxiety and how we respond to ill-advised remarks or stressful events will create how we feel and think. With practice and awareness we can make this response a choice. Constructive criticism may come to our aid. Worry and discouragement, can lead to different kinds of anxiety.

Our reaction is a choice.

Responses and Tips

With focus and action any conflict can be resolved. Anxiety will increase if there is no effort to discover a solution. Troubling thoughts, that continue to be hidden or undisclosed, create the roots of most anxiety. Eventually this can cause general anxiety disorder. It has been my experience that, after finding a solution, my anxiety was either exaggerated or imagined.

Two specific techniques which I discovered in a free e-book, The Power of Frustration, explained how I could use the signs of anxiety as tools to pin-point what my problem was and develop strategies to solve it! The most effective aspect of the book is that it gives you specific techniques to actually turn your thoughts around. Anxiety, frustrating work problems, anger, and fear are examples of topics which are covered with effective methods to create the path to a life-changing state of mind! Anxiety of Regret

Regrets and unhappiness are issues that can manifest as we get “the blues.” At times we think we’re all alone, keeping these thoughts to ourselves worrying all day. These are signs of anxiety that can control our lives. The thoughts we choose to dwell on can lead to an anxiety disorder.

Meditation for Anxiety

It’s not necessary to turn your back, avoid, or resist anxious thoughts. It’s natural that they come and go. With courage, we can confront and accept these feelings. Then we can give them permission to go away.

Meditation for Anxiety has been the most powerful tool I’ve ever used. Learn how to let your anxious thoughts go! Just as every event arrives in life, it’s sure to pass. Use the signs of anxiety to start a new beginning. In the present moment, envision what you want; then develop the consciousness necessary to hold it.

The time has come to make the changes that are necessary to create your future; the future that you want, with the thoughts you allow to remain. When you find the strength and follow through with these changes, consider yourself free.

The regrets of the past will surely fade, like footprints in the sand, washed away by the incoming tide. There you will stand with the self confidence that comes with the skill of using the signs of anxiety.
