It was my experience that stress and anxiety were just part of life. Like most people, I was too busy taking care of my family and developing performance at work. Professional help seemed embarrassing and expensive. During my career I didn’t think there was time to take care of myself.
Suddenly I realized that time was marching on! Being anxious most of the time, I felt worn out, and then my health started to decline. With age came the awareness that there was a lot more to life than just making money and paying bills.
